Built to develop every player.

On-Ice Skill Development

Hours of structured ice time building skating power, edge work, puck handling, and shooting through technique work and competitive reps.

Shooting Room

Dedicated time in the shooting room to build shot power, refine technique, and develop scoring habits.

Off-Ice Development

Athletic development and workouts paired with leadership sessions on confidence, accountability, being a great teammate, and handling adversity.

Camp Experience

A camp shirt, a name helmet sticker, and a group assignment. The week wraps up with kickball, photo day, and trophy pictures on Thursday.

Thursday finishes with the hardware.

Camp wraps up with kickball, photo day, and a chance for players to take pictures with the Mason Cup and the MacNaughton Cup.

Minnesota State won the 2026 CCHA Mason Cup by defeating St. Thomas 4 to 1 in the championship game on March 20, 2026. The win gave the Mavericks their fourth Mason Cup in five years and secured the conference's automatic NCAA Tournament bid.

MacNaughton Cup
MacNaughton Cup

Minnesota State won the 2026 MacNaughton Cup as the CCHA regular-season champion. The Mavericks surged from fifth place in mid-February to finish first on the final weekend of conference play.

Players are grouped by age and level at registration. Staff may adjust groups during the camp to keep every player challenged and developing.

Reid Morich
Reid Morich is a Minnesota State forward and former captain of the Waterloo Black Hawks in the USHL. He brings NCAA Division I, USHL leadership, and high-level offensive experience to Maverick Made Hockey Camp.
Sawyer Scholl
Sawyer Scholl
Sawyer Scholl is a Minnesota State forward and Academic All-CCHA honoree with previous NCAA experience at Wisconsin. He brings Division I, USHL, NAHL, and elite prep hockey experience to Maverick Made Hockey Camp.
Campbell Cichosz
Campbell Cichosz
Campbell Cichosz is a former Minnesota State assistant captain and Academic All-CCHA defenseman who signed professionally with the Toledo Walleye. Known for his work ethic, leadership, and defensive detail, he brings Division I and professional experience to Maverick Made Hockey Camp.
Liam Hupka
Liam Hupka
Liam Hupka is a Minnesota State defenseman with three seasons of USHL experience with the Sioux City Musketeers. He brings Division I, junior hockey, and defensive development experience to Maverick Made Hockey Camp.
Bryce Strand
Bryce Strand
Bryce Strand is a Minnesota State skater who has played both forward and defense for the Mavericks. With three seasons of NAHL experience, he brings Division I, junior hockey, and versatile positional experience to Maverick Made Hockey Camp.
Rylan Bonkowski
Rylan Bonkowski
Rylan Bonkowski is a Minnesota State defenseman with USHL experience from the Tri-City Storm and a BCHL championship background with the Surrey Eagles. He brings Division I, junior hockey, and championship experience to Maverick Made Hockey Camp.

Safety rules
  • Neck guards are mandatory
  • Helmets are mandatory in the shooting room
  • Gym shoes are required
  • Forgotten items will not be provided by the camp. If a player forgets a neck guard or helmet, check lost and found or a parent must bring it.
  • Pickup: parents pick up every player. A coach will not leave until every player is picked up.
  • Injuries and emergencies are handled by Reid. Nearest medical facility: Mayo Clinic Health System Mankato Emergency Department.
Drop-off and pickup

Use the large parking lot around the back of the arena. Allow time for players to dress at drop-off and undress at pickup.

How are groups assigned?

By level. Mite and Squirt are in the Black Group (Group 1). Peewee and Bantam are in the White Group (Group 2).

Can players leave their gear at the rink?

Yes. Players can keep their gear in the locker rooms throughout camp.

What is the refund policy?

Camp registrations are refundable up to 48 hours before the first scheduled session. Cancellations within 48 hours are not guaranteed a refund, but special circumstances are reviewed case by case. See the full refund and cancellation policy below.

Camp registrations are refundable up to 48 hours before the first scheduled camp session. Cancellations requested within 48 hours of the first camp session are not guaranteed a refund, but Morich Hockey may review special circumstances on a case-by-case basis. If Morich Hockey cancels the camp or a session cannot be held due to facility issues, weather, or other circumstances outside normal operations, families will receive either a makeup option, credit, or refund depending on the situation. Refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible. Stripe/payment processing fees may be non-refundable.
