On-Ice Skill Development

Structured ice time intentionally working on skating efficiency, edge work, puck handling, and shooting through technique work and competitive reps.

Age Specific Ice Times

Ensuring every player trains in an environment that's appropriate for their physical, technical, and cognitive stage of development. Each group receives instruction, drills, and coaching tailored to their age and ability leading to more repetitions, better learning and increased confidence.

Players are grouped by age and level at registration. Staff may adjust groups during the camp to keep every player challenged and developing.

Ange Guzzo
Ange Guzzo
Ange is a former professional hockey player with decades of experience in the game as both a player and hockey administrator. Following a successful professional career that included stops throughout North America, including the Port Huron Border Cats, Guzzo has remained dedicated to growing the game and serving the local hockey community. Today, Ange serves as the General Manager of Glacier Pointe Ice Complex in Port Huron. Through his leadership, he has helped provide opportunities for players of all ages to develop their skills and enjoy the game.
Brett Morich
Brett Morich
Brett is a professional hockey player and experienced coach dedicated to developing athletes on and off the ice. He currently plays professionally while serving as the Coaching Director for the Port Huron Minor Hockey Association and Assistant Coach for the SC4 Men's Hockey Team Brett specializes in skill development, skating, hockey IQ, and performance training, helping players build confidence, improve their game, and reach their full potential through intentional, detail oriented instruction. His passion is creating a positive environment where athletes can develop both as hockey players and as people.
Austin Fetterly
Austin Fetterly
Austin is a Port Huron native and captain of the Port Huron Prowlers, Austin is going into his 11th professional season and has earned a reputation as one of the game's most dependable leaders. His approach to coaching emphasizes attention to detail, professionalism, and the daily habits required to succeed. He enjoys sharing the lessons he's learned throughout his career, helping athletes better understand the game while building the character needed to advance to higher levels.

Drop-off and pickup

Use the large parking lot in front of the arena. Allow time for players to dress at drop-off and undress at pickup.

Can parents stay and watch?

Yes. Parents may stay and watch.

How are groups assigned?

By age, the oldest group is the first skate, middle group is the second, youngest group is the third and final of the day.

Can players leave their gear at the rink?

There will not be space to leave gear overnight at the rink

What is the refund policy?

Camp registrations are refundable up to 48 hours before the first scheduled session. Cancellations within 48 hours are not guaranteed a refund, but special circumstances are reviewed case by case. See the full refund and cancellation policy below.

Refund policy

Camp registrations are refundable up to 48 hours before the first scheduled camp session. Cancellations requested within 48 hours of the first camp session are not guaranteed a refund, but Morich Hockey may review special circumstances on a case-by-case basis. If Morich Hockey cancels the camp or a session cannot be held due to facility issues, weather, or other circumstances outside normal operations, families will receive either a makeup option, credit, or refund depending on the situation. Refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible. Stripe/payment processing fees may be non-refundable.
